Book 1 of the Hidden Empires Trilogy

To inherit the Empire, he must first survive what’s hiding inside it.

My name is Adar Zahn, though it hasn’t always been.

Less than a year ago, I was living on Earth with a different name and a different life. Now I am the Emperor’s Heir, learning how to navigate an Empire I was born to rule but barely remember.

I thought the hardest part would be learning how to become a ruler. I was wrong.

When the Feast of Kings brings the rulers of the twelve kingdoms to River Palace, I am finally presented to the Empire as my father’s successor. But beneath the ceremony, alliances, and political games, something else is happening

A servant disappears. Hidden passages are discovered beneath the ancient structure. Then my brother Xavier arrives with a dire warning. And my brother Zorren, already on trial for treason, seems far less concerned about his own fate than he should be.

As ancient rivalries, political ambitions, family secrets, and hidden agendas begin to converge, I find myself questioning who I can trust, and how much of the Empire I truly understand.

The closer we get to the truth, the more dangerous it becomes. Because the greatest threat may not be waiting beyond the Empire’s borders. It may already be hidden within.
