The Ethian Empire is supported by a number of organizations that protect its citizens, maintain order, provide medical care, and oversee essential industries. Together, these institutions help defend the Empire, unite its kingdoms, safeguard its people, and maintain the infrastructure that allows civilization to flourish.
Caretaker Guild
The Caretaker Guild oversees the Empire’s highly trained medical professionals. Caretakers specialize in advanced medicine, emergency treatment, and the operation of Remakers, making them indispensable throughout the Empire.
Whether serving in medical facilities, aboard military vessels, or within the royal palaces, Caretakers are trusted to preserve life wherever they are needed.
Imperial Mining Consortium
The Imperial Mining Consortium coordinates large-scale mining operations throughout the Empire, ensuring a reliable supply of the minerals and raw materials needed to support industry, commerce, and technological advancement.
Working alongside individual Kingdoms and private contractors, the Consortium oversees safety standards, exploration permits, and the responsible development of newly discovered mineral resources.
Protectorate College
The Protectorate trains and assigns elite Protectors whose lives are devoted to safeguarding the rulers of the Empire. Protectors are bonded to their charges through a unique bonding process that strengthens both their abilities and their commitment to the people under their care.
From the rigorous training at Protectorate College to lifelong assignments protecting nobles and other important citizens, the Protectorate is respected throughout the Empire for its discipline, loyalty, and unwavering dedication.
Vanguard
The Vanguard is the unified military alliance of the Twelve Kingdoms. Unlike the Zahnian Legion, which serves the Emperor, the Vanguard answers collectively to the Kings of the Empire and is commanded by the elected Supreme Commander of the Vanguard (currently King Rainus Nador).
Originally formed during the Great Civil War, the Vanguard now protects the Empire’s borders, coordinates military operations between the Kingdoms, and serves as the Empire’s first line of defense against any possible external threats.
Zahnian Legion
The official military force of the Ethian Empire, the Zahnian Legion answers directly to the Emperor. It is responsible for defending Imperial territory, enforcing Imperial law, and responding to threats throughout the Empire.
Led by the Supreme Commander of the Zahnian Legion (currently Admiral Vang), its soldiers, officers, and specialized divisions serve across thousands of worlds.
